Live Webinars

Live Webinars are training events in which the participants can attend live and engage directly with the trainer and other participants. Our live webinars are always recorded and made accessible for 90 days after the live event.

To make learning as easy and stress-free as possible, all of our training events – whether you plan to attend live or prefer to watch a digital recording – are accessed through your account.

When you make your first booking with Essential Therapy Training, you will be asked to create an account. It is from this account where you can access everything that comes with the training event – the link to the live recording, the digital recording, the slides and any handouts, the post-test and your CPD/CE certificate.

Your username is the same as your email address that you used when you booked.

To attend the live event:

  1. When you log-in to your account, you will be taken to your dashboard.
  2. Click on the training that you wish to attend live
  3. Under ‘Live Webinar’, there will be the link to access the Zoom meeting. When you click on the link, Zoom will launch and you will be placed in the waiting room, ready to be admitted when the training begins.

Yes, our live webinars are interactive. Essential Therapy Training encourages participant interaction with the trainer and other attendees to enhance their overall learning experience.

The features on Zoom that are used to enable this are break-out sessions, live Q&As, the chat function and polls. Please note that break-out sessions cannot be recorded.

Yes, all of our training sessions are video recorded.

Within 24 hours of the live event ending, the recording will be available for you to access in your dashboard for a period of 90 days. This means that you can go back to any parts of the trainings that you missed or want to catch up on.

No, the recording is not able to be downloaded. It is prohibited for customers to share training events with anyone else – as stated within the terms and conditions when booking with Essential Therapy Training.

All of our training events have been pre-accredited for CPD/CE credits.

To gain the credits, once you have watched the training, you need to take the post-test which is found on your dashboard in your account area. The post-tests feature all multiple choice questions and you must pass at a rate of 80%. You are able to have three attempts to pass. If you pass, a certificate of attendance will be automatically generated in your dashboard which includes the proof of the CPD/CE credits gained.

Yes, participants will always receive the slides that were used in the webinar. These can be found in the ‘Resources’ section in your account area. Speakers often provide handouts in addition as if applicable, these will also be found in ‘Resources’.

We generally discourage people from dropping in and out because it is disruptive to the trainer and to the other participants. However, it is possible and a member from technical support will be on hand to let you back into the meeting from the waiting room. There may be a short delay in re-entry.

We also suggest that if you can’t attend the live session entirely but would like to attend part of it that the participant logs in as usual, then leaves the training running on your computer in the background so you can dip in and out without requiring re-entry.

Yes, a member from our technical support team is always on hand throughout the session if you require any technical assistance. Their email and telephone number can be found in your dashboard and it will be visible in the chat box during the training session as well.

Using Zoom for Live Webinars

No, it is not required that you download Zoom before the event. It can be launched in your browser.

Digital Recordings are the video recordings of training sessions that have already taken place – with or without participants in live attendance.

If there were participants in attendance when the training session was recorded, then the recording may have been subject to editing to make the recording sleeker to watch.

For confidentiality reasons, some parts of the training events cannot be recorded – such as live supervision and break-out sessions. For break-out sessions in live events, if there are set discussion questions, we ask the speaker to provide these so that the participant watching the recording can also engage with them.

No, it is prohibited for customers to share training events with anyone else – as stated within the terms and conditions when booking with Essential Therapy Training.
Often, the speaker is happy to be emailed questions following the event and their email address will be provided in the resources section of your account if allowed.

Yes, we do offer a student discount. Please contact admin@essentialtherapytraining.com to enquire about this and to confirm your eligibility.
Yes, you can. At the checkout stage of the booking process, you will be asked to check a tickbox if you are buying a ticket for someone else and then, a space will open up where you will be able to enter the email address of the person booking.
